Automatic and Manual change over switches (ATS & MTS)

Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Manual Transfer Switches (MTS) are used to switch between a main power source and a backup generator in electrical systems.
ATS: Automatically detects power loss and switches to backup power, then back to the main source once restored, ensuring continuous operation. Common in critical settings like hospitals and data centers.

MTS: Requires manual operation to switch power sources when the main power fails. Used in residential and small commercial settings where automatic switching isn’t crucial.

Both types prevent back feed, protecting the power system and utility workers. ATA offers ATS from 40A to 4000A, suitable for various applications like industrial plants, airports, and data centers. Contactor types for ATS units
